Woowhee, it's like you both had a cup 'o contrary tea before recording this one! Lively! ;)
Btw, Going to guess that Dairy Queen took their meaning for Brazier NOT from the second meaning on dictionary.com...
noun
a metal receptacle for holding live coals or other fuel, as for heating a room.
noun
a person who makes articles of brass.
Btw, I love the fact that the 'Barbecue Nation' link takes you to "kingofham.com..."
Sweet Baby Ray's. Only BBQ sauce I use.
D.C. Correspondent checking in. People here play "bags," also known as "cornhole," which is basically washers, but played with hand-held 5" bean bags. If you're really special, you make your own boxes and paint them with the colors and logo of your alma mater. That said, I think we still have horseshoes setups in parks. Never seen anyone playing with them, though. This is a common tailgating game around here, too.
Washers never made it out here, as far as I know. I think it's important to note that at a family BBQ with little kids running amok, flying bean bags are likely to cause fewer injuries than flying horseshoes or washers.
