I've never seen Grease 2, but thanks to this ep, I think I've got all I need to know about it. I'm glad it existed, though, just because it inspired your incredible Grease 4 plot summary. I imagine the ending of that movie as all the Grease characters essentially running through the mall set of Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
YES. Except we'd have to make it in the early 90s, because the Fast Times mall was torn down following the 94 earthquake; something that haunts me even more than Grease 2.
I can almost guarantee that John didn't have to look up that Fast Times fact.
You're correct, Drew, but if I had looked it up I would have realized that the mall was not completely destroyed; just altered. It's an outdoor lifestyle center now with restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory. I think I would have preferred annihilation.
I like how this discussion has actually crossed over into another hourchive. BTW, I forgot to mention... am I the only one who hears "cool WRITER" every time Drew says "cool RIDER!?" Then again, a few years ago, I thought Nicholas Cage was making a GhostWriter movie. Word!
I would have actually gone to see a GhostWriter movie.
